MissionQuest can help increase operational capability by putting better prepared crews to sea. Combined with customized curriculum, MissionQuest's can deliver the following training elements:

Basic Skills Training

MissionQuest can be used to teach collision avoidance using the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea Rules of the Road training. It can also be used to teach equipment familiarization using fleet specific radar, chartplotter, GPS and magnetic compass hardware.

Positive Control

MissionQuest allows trainees to practice small vessel, high speed resource management. Situational awareness can be tested by exposing trainees to increasingly complex situations. The exposure to complex situations also allows trainees to practice effective two-way bridge communication under stress. Finally, situations can be delivered that require trainees to effectively use Stop, Assess and Plan (SAP) techniques.

Search and Rescue (SAR) Operations and Tactics

MissionQuest can be used to develop a trainee's ability to plan, assess, and carry-out missions such as target interception, search techniques, and small task-force communications and coordination.

FRC Coxswain and Boatman Training

MissionQuest can be configured to deliver practical training elements relating to FRC coxswain and boatman training courses.
