Increased Training Capacity
SurvivalQuest allows an instructor to simulate the entire launch procedure in less than 15 minutes. This means that each coxswain can have multiple to attempts at launch without the recover limitation of on water training. This increase means that more students are able to be trained in a shorter amount of time.
Limit Knowledge Loss
SurvivalQuest's deployment flexibility means that it can be deployed in a location that allows coxswains to frequently access the simulator. By increasing training frequency, knowledge loss can be limited.
Total Training Control
SurvivalQuest instructor station delivers total training control to the instructor. The Instructor Station makes it easy for instructors to create and save a variety of training variables such as time of day, visibility, weather, sea state and location. In addition, instructors are able to simulate equipment failure and faults in real-time and record the entire exercise for review with the coxswain.
Curriculum Flexibility
SurvivalQuest can be deployed with a curriculum developed by VMT’s team of maritime experts. Conversely, VMT’s maritime team can work with instructors to integrate existing training methodologies into a simulated environment
